- ▪ Policy Control - An MNO's existing Billing System did not have the capability to throttle post-paid subscriber data usage via a proprietary PCEF vendor interface. The MNOs IT group built a tool to invoke a REST API, built by Primal Technologies together with a quasi Gx DIAMETER Gx back-end interface to the LTE PDN-GW PCEF. Primal Technologies can also support additional throttling Use Cases, which cannot be easily developed by the existing BSS.
- ▪ MVNO branding - Primal Technologies offers unique OCS rating and subscriber convenience capabilities that the existing BSS and OCS may not offer. For MNOs seeking a differentiated, complementary brand from your existing Postpaid or Prepaid brands, look to Primal to assist you with such an offering.
- ▪ Welcome SMS - Primal developed towards an HLR/HSS vendor's REST API to receive events when subscribers roam abroad and send text messages with roaming rate information.
- ▪ Forward-Pay Service - Primal developed a Forward-Pay Service for a Verizon LRA MNO whose VoLTE subscribers are hosted in the Verizon HLR/HSS. Primal Forward-Pay reads VzW generated PRR CDR files and debits subscriber Voice, SMS, Data usage depending on the rate plan. Subscribers top-up via PCI Compliant credit card and REST API.
- ▪ Call Recording Services – Primal Developed CRS for a tier-1 MNO having the
following Use Cases:
Financial and Legal Industries, which had a regulatory requirement to have calls placed by their employees to their clients recorded while using their cell phone. Can be priced by MNO on a per employee/month or on a per-call basis.
Consumer interest to have important calls recorded on a per-call basis for reference later (e.g. verbal agreements, etc). Can be priced by MNO as a monthly Add-on or on a per-call basis. Compliance Recording for government organizations. - ▪ 5G Messaging - An MNO deployed a new 5G greenfield network and simultaneously had a requirement for Primal Technologies to integrate with the 5G network and implement a Cloud Native (CNF) Service supporting various SMS Use Cases including some legacy P2P SMS and A2P SMPP routing including MMS Notifications, SMEs (e.g., Apple activations, 2-Factor authentications, etc) and Inter-carrier messaging.
