Primal Technologies, a leading developer of telecom services, announced today their Primal Emergency SMS Alert service as an alternative to Cell Broadcast for network operators to broadcast an SMS message to its subscriber base quickly and effectively. With Primal Emergency SMS Alert Service providers can get any Public Announcement message out to their complete customer base in less than 10 minutes.
“As an add-on to the Primal SMSC, the deployment of the service can be in a matter of weeks, rather than months,” said Michael Conway, Vice President at Primal Technologies. “In 2018 we are seeing a strong service provider need to fill in the SMS base with a technology solution that is simple to deploy. Similar to other Primal Services, the Primal Emergency Alert Service can also be deployed in an NFV (network functions virtualization) environment providing increased flexibility and scalability,” he continued.
To administer the SMS alert, Primal Skylight can be utilized to submit a global broadcast job and to monitor the progress and status of the running jobs. Coupled with the Primal SMSC, the Primal Emergency Alert Service enables a network operator to have the capability to broadcast up to 500,000 first attempt alert messages to its subscribers within 10 minutes.
