As the number of subscribers using Smart phones continues to increase, together with the popular introduction of inexpensive data rate plans, demand for data usage will continue to grow rapidly. To keep pace with this data traffic growth, carriers are continuing to build out their network, deploy newer technologies and place more importance on policy management mechanisms to maintain a sufficient level of network data access and integrity, especially during high traffic periods.
Primal Technologies' PCRF supports hourly and daily thresholds, community/location-based QoS, and other types of dynamic PCC policy rules to allow the wireless operator to manage and control the data usage across their wireless network thereby optimizing the Quality of Experience for their subscribers. Primal Technologies' is deploying PCRF for VoLTE networks with IMS in 2016.
Together with the Primal Converged Online Charging Service (OCS), which provides a wide array of bundle plans and flexible subscription mechanisms for the wireless operator, Primal Technologies' PCRF can offer compelling policies and rating group selections for every operator.
Smart Phone Access to Visual Voice Mail
Wireless operators recognize that the ability to offer the most popular smart phone models is the cornerstone of a successful strategy. Primal Technologies allows wireless operators to continue to leverage this strategy with the ability to offer iPhone and Android Visual Voicemail to their subscribers with complete provisioning control to either bundle the Visual Voicemail feature into an existing services bundle, or offer it as an "add-on" feature.
Primal Technologies includes a Visual Voicemail client for Android phones, or alternatively supports the native Apple iPhone client. In this way, the subscriber can more intuitively retrieve, listen, and manage their voice messages from their Visual Voicemail client. The Primal Android Visual Voicemail client can also be further customized for branding purposes. For wireless operators with other Primal VAS, the Android client also allows subscribers the convenience to further engage with these services at the wireless operator's discretion (e.g. display the converged balance, buckets, expiration date, and rate plan).
Since Primal Technologies also supports voicemail for cable and landline operators, these same operators can use the Primal Android client to allow their subscribers to view and manage their voice messages, and fax messages alike.
Primal Technologies is focused on making advanced services highly available and profitable for telecom providers worldwide. The Primal Open Services Platform (OSP) is the industry's most open, flexible and scalable platform. Primal Technologies continues to be the leading developer of "best of class" telecom applications for WSPs, ILECS, and VoIP service providers. In 2016, Primal Technologies will continue to enhance Visual Voice Mail experience with additional features.

Primal Technologies On The Cloud
The Primal Cloud allows small to medium wireless carriers to provide enhanced value applications with a simple VPN connection from the carrier network. With Primal Cloud, the telecom service provider simply connects their MSC, HLR or Soft switch to the Primal Open Services Platform (OSP) via IP. SMS, MMS, Voice Mail, EIR, and IN Prepaid are now managed from the Primal Skynet GUI to easily and effectively support their subscirbers.
Primal Cloud CPU, memory and database resources are allocated seamlessly to the network based on subscriber and call usage with on-demand delivery of IT resources. Protocols supported by the Primal Technologies Cloud include RTP, SIP, DIAMETER, MAP, SMPP, HTTP XML, IS826, and CAMEL.
