December 2000 Primal has installed one of its largest PSNs in Antigua W.I. for Observer Cellular. The 16 T1 system provides PrePaid and Voice Mail technology in one system. Observer Cellular is a new breed of entrepreneurial wireless CLECs offering telecommunications services to its residents and tourists across the island. November 2000 Primal has released Primal Skylight for the Primal Service Node (PSN). October 2000 Primal Technologies Inc. has unveiled its advanced AIN adjunct peripheral -- PSN2000 (Primal Service Node) -- the next generation service node with increased scalability and supportability. The PSN2000 supports 32 T1s or E1s per system. With a full provisioned system and depending on the application, the node supports up to 300,000 subscribers.
September 2000 Primal Technologies has received a fourth memorandum of understanding with Lucent Technologies Inc. to supply a PrePaid Voice Response Unit (VRU) on its Primal Service Node (PSN). The value of the agreement has not been disclosed. The 4th MOU follows 3 successful installations with Lucent on PrePaid and Calling Party Pays VRUs in North America.
June 2000 Primal Technologies continues to move forward by establishing itself as the IVR suppliers of choice for Glenayre Technologies' Intelligis PrePaid Wireless platform. Glenayre will utilize the Primal PSN for all its wireless PrePaid solutions in North America and Europe. The new WIN PrePaid Call Control was developed through a cooperative agreement between Glenayre, AG Communications System (a subsidiary of Lucent) and Primal Technologies. The WIN PrePaid Call Control is currently in beta trial with two Glenayre customers.
April 2000 Primal Technologies Inc. expands its operations to include Professional Services. January 2000 Primal Technologies announces to the VoIP service providers that it will be combining the Trunk Gateway and Voice Mail functionality onto the Primal Service Node (PSN). The combined application (Trunk Gateway Plus) on the PSN will significantly reduce the amount of bandwidth required on the backbone IP network, and provide consistent DTMF detection from the PSTN during the IP QoS busy hour.
