PRIMAL TECHNOLOGIES Open Services Platform (OSP) Launches SMS and MMS with Cellular One of East Central Illinois

Toronto, September 1, 2011 — Primal Technologies announced today that the Primal Open Services Platform (OSP) is commercially deployed with Cellular One of East Central Illinois (ECI), offering SMS and MMS. "SMS is many times being used by the younger generation even before they pick up the phone" says Michael Conway, Vice President of Primal Technologies. "And because of this demand, carriers have seen their SMS growth being increased 4-fold in the last two years, making it important to have a strong and robust SMSc in their network", he continued. Service providers can gain extra revenue with value added content providers and 2-Way SMSc gaming, contest and voting applications.

Primal Technologies' MMS IMS solution and strategy builds on a proven framework that allows the OSP to cost effectively scale from small to large networks, and provides a roadmap for deployment of additional advanced features past picture messaging. In addition to picture messaging, subscribers will have access to a richer interactive environment with videos and graphics.

The Open Services Platform (OSP) with its many applications can be connected to the SS7 network and 4G SIP networks simultaneously. Other applications supported on the IN-OSP include USSD Services, Data Rating Services and OTA. Once connected to the IP network, subscribers can update their accounts and profiles from anywhere in the world via the WWW and their credit card. IN-OSPs range from 10,000 to 1 Million+ subscribers allowing wireless service bureaus and MVNOs to scale their solution with their subscriber base.
