Primal Technologies Deploys Wireless Prepaid for Ramcell of North Carolina

Mississauga, December 4, 2006 — Primal Technologies announced that its Primal Open Services Platform (OSP) has been commercially deployed with Ramcell Carolina for Wireless Prepaid.

The hardware chassis for the OSP is offered in six major models. Hardware selection criterion are based on interconnect type, number of ports, and disk storage. Primal's modular IN architecture allows OSP applications to inter-operate with the many different trunk and signaling interfaces that exist today. These interfaces include TCAP, ISUP, MF, PRI, and VoIP. The OSP operates within an Intranet or Internet environment enabling the support team and service provider to access the system for monitoring and reports. The OSP’s scaleable architecture allows for growth in the number of links, voice interface cards, CPUs and the amount of storage required.

All applications on the OSP are controlled by showcase software called Skylight; the Operations and Marketing tool that provides real-time status of the Primal OSP. This GUI interface [which is exclusive to Primal Technologies] supplies data on OSP Usage, Customer Balance, Revenue Generation and System Status on a continuous, hourly or daily basis. Real-time Call Detail Records can also be reviewed to assist in trouble-shooting billing related issues. Primal Skylight easily exceeds telecom expectations for a highly focused tool to track mission critical applications on the OSP.
