Primal Technologies Inc. Deploys Unified Messaging for Comwave

Mississauga, August 6, 2006 — Primal Technologies Inc. (www.primaltech.com) has signed a contract with Comwave to provide enhanced services to their customers via the Primal Open Services Platform (OSP). "Phone companies are continually looking for a single platform to provide numerous services for their customers," said Michael Conway, vice president of Primal Technologies. Part of the Primal solution for Comwave includes Voice Mail and Unified Messaging.

Comwave is leveraging the flexibility and openness of the Primal OSP Software to integrate with their TDM and IP network. With a wide range of support for Sun hardware, Comwave can cost effectively provide new services to their customers with the right Sun Microsystems hardware with the right room for growth. "They had a requirement to install infrastructure proportionately to customer growth and Primal Technologies was able to demonstrate a feature rich platform that could do that for them", says Conway.

The Primal Services Platform (OSP) uses the showcase software Primal Skylight. Primal Skylight is the Operation and Marketing tool that provides real-time status of the OSP. Primal Skylight provides data on OSP Usage, Customer Balance, Revenue Generation and System Status on a continuous, hourly or daily basis. Real-time Call Detail Records can also be reviewed to assist in trouble-shooting billing related issues. Primal Skylight easily exceeds telecom expectations for a highly focused tool to track mission critical applications on the OSP.
