Primal Technologies Ringback allows the subscriber to assign their
personality to their phone. With the Ringback feature enabled, a
subscriber can have a music tune played to their incoming caller prior
to answering the phone. Primal Technologies OSP, with a large
catalogue of tunes, allows the subscriber to chose from many of the
features below:
Ringback tone application by Caller ID
Ringback tone application by Group Association
Ringback tone application by Time-of-Day
Jukebox Ringback from a Selection
For Ringback operation the subscriber is sent from the service provider
WWW site to a link where subscribers pick and choose Ringback content
from a web based storefront branded with a service provider look and feel.
After successful login, the subscriber chooses a Ringback tune which is
then applied to their profile for all incoming calls, by time of day, or
by Caller ID. At the subscriber’s discretion, audible ringing may be
superimposed on Ringback tones in order to eliminate caller confusion,
until Ringback tunes become more familiar to callers. The Ring Back Tone
capability allows the wireless subscriber to pick and choose tunes that
are played to their incoming callers. These tunes can be played with/without
a ringing tone on top of the 45 to 60 second melody.
